How to Write a College Essay That Got Into Harvard

How to Write a College Essay That Got Into HarvardOne of the hardest parts of writing a college essay is to come up with something that will be compelling enough to stand out above the others. I know, because I have done it!My thesis statement for my first college essay was that the best way to advance in school was to write a report or research paper. It was kind of funny, and some professors loved it. However, after a few weeks of writing the same boring essay, the subject matter really did wear on me.After about one hundred and eighty pages of writing, my professor pulled me aside and told me that my writing lacked something important-it was my own unique personality. I was so surprised by the statement that he asked me what I meant. You see, the reason why I had been writing an essay that didn't get into Harvard wasn't just because it was boring. I knew the essay was boring, but the problem was deeper than that. The essay itself lacked passion. I wanted to write something that wou ld make a good impression, and that's when I realized I needed to find out how to gain more passion in my writing. After taking a look at my thesis, I realized that it made sense that I had written the essay, but I didn't think it was powerful enough to get into Harvard. I also knew that in order to get into Harvard, I needed to write a strong essay. I also thought that my subject matter was pretty dull-and, more importantly, it was boring. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to learn how to write a compelling essay that wouldn't lose me my chance at getting into Harvard. The first thing I did was to go online and read several good college essays by top professors. They are definitely good sources of inspiration, and it made me want to get started right away. It made me realize that I need to go to college and find a great professor and to get the most out of my experience there. After a while, I knew I needed to write a college essay that I could feel proud of. I needed to build an impressive piece of work, not merely a piece of history. The whole idea behind my college essay is to create a piece of history, not simply a piece of mediocre writing. After reading hundreds of college essays, I realized that no one has ever succeeded in writing a decent college essay without passion.
